Troop 641,

I'm sharing here the Flag Fundraiser details and a copy of the flyer that I distributed to the Troop tonight at the meeting.  For those new to 641, we hold this fundraiser annually to raise funds for Troop activities.  The basic details are as follows; we ask each Scout to sign up no more than 5 houses in their neighborhood to participate, the boys place American flags along the walkway of each home for Veterans Day and Memorial Day, performing flag placing and flag removal ceremonies for each holiday.  We will watch the weather for Veterans Day and pick the placement day accordingly - e.g., if it's not raining on November 11 we will place the flags that morning and pick them back up that Saturday/Sunday.  If there's going to be very bad weather we will try and place them the Saturday/Sunday before.

Join Chase and help him with improvements to the Saint Peter's Outdoor Chapel for the completion of his Eagle project.

The PLC will meet Sunday evening at 7:00 PM at Saint Peter's.

The Troop Fall Court of Honor will be at Saint Peter's Episcopal Church at 7:00 PM.  Come celebrate the hard work of our Scouts as they receive the merit badges and rank that they have earned since the Spring.

Chase Greenberg is leading an Eagle project to renovate and improve the Saint Peter's outdoor chapel.  At the request of the church, the first step is to plant azalea's before the first freeze and spread mulch. The remainder of the project will include bench repairs and staining and will be scheduled in November.
